Safety

At Kulo, We Are Committed To Passenger Safety And Strive To Give You The Best Experience Imaginable And Become Your Preferred And Trusted Transportation Partner. To Achieve This, We Have Partnered With The Leader In Video-Based Driver Safety Programs. What You See In The Driver’s Windshield Is A Drive Cam Event Recorder, Which Will Help Us Ensure You Are Safely Delivered To Your Destination.

WHAT DOES IT RECORD?

The Drive Cam Event Recorder Captures Audio And Video Of Driving Activities Occurring Inside And Outside The Vehicle. There Are Two Lenses, One Facing Back Toward The Driver And One Facing Forward Out The Windshield. The Lens Facing The Driver Captures Audio And Video Inside The Vehicle And Whatever Is Visible Through The Side And Rear Windows. The Lens Facing Forward Captures Things Happening In Front Of The Vehicle.

DOES THE DRIVE CAM EVENT RECORDER CAPTURE AND RECORD EVERYTHING ALL OF THE TIME?

No. Unlike Devices That Are Designed For Constant Monitoring And Tracking Of Drivers, The Event Recorder Is Specifically Designed To Identify And Capture Only Risky Driving Behaviors. The Camera Is Continuously Recording, However, The Audio And Video Is Only Saved When There Is An Event. An Event Is Caused By Specific Driving Behaviors, Such As Hard Breaking, Accelerating, Excessive Speeding, Cornering Or Collision.

HOW MUCH AUDIO & VIDEO DOES THE DRIVE CAM EVENT RECORDER CAPTURE AND RECORD?

Video Event Recordings Are Typically 12 Seconds Long. When Activated, The Event Recorder Immediately Saves The 8 Seconds Prior To The Activation Point And Then Continues To Record And Save 4 Seconds After.

THE RIGHT LIGHT WAS FLASHING GREEN AND RED BUT THEN WENT BACK TO SOLID GREEN INSTEAD OF SOLID RED. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE EVENT?

The Flashing Green And Red Light Indicates That An Event Recording Was Activated. During The Processing, However,It Was Determined That The Event Was Not Caused By Risky Driving And Therefore Did Not Meet The Requirements To Be Sent For Analysis. Only A Solid Red Light Indicates The Event Was Saved.

CAN ANYONE TURN ON THE EVENT RECORDER AND REMOTELY SEE WHAT THE DRIVER IS DOING OR SAYING?

No. There Is No Way For Anyone To Activate The Video Event Recorder Remotely Or To Get A Remote, Live View Through The Device.
